Job Summary:

GAMA Engineering Inc. is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Architectural Technologist for immediate employment at its office . GAMA is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

• Working on design and drawing production for municipal, commercial and industrial projects

• Coordinate and produce drafting assignments with project managers and engineers from initial project stage to project completion utilizing AutoCAD, Revit and other CADD tools

• Efficiently work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, to produce drawing packages

• Ensure that project needs are met in a timely manner

• Follows group practices and prescribed project standards

 

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum Requirements

• Technology Diploma from a relevant discipline area

• 4+ years' experience

• Desire to progress towards Applied Science Technologists (A.Sc.T.) status

• Analytical, technical and problem-solving skills and abilities

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is mandatory

• Positive, engaging and helpful attitude

• Fluent in English and have excellent verbal communication skills

• Analytical, technical and problem-solving skills and abilities

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10+ years' experience preferred

• Bilingual French and English with ability to work in both languages

• PWGSC Secret clearance preferred

• Well-organized and a self-directed person with excellent communication skills and graphic design skills

• Thorough knowledge of building systems and construction detailing.

• Thorough working knowledge of the Ontario and National Building Codes
